The two better side face to face with each other today. Both teams unbeaten upto now and Rajasthan Royals already qualified for the semi- final of the Champions League CLT-20.


Otago Volts want to finish the match with the win and they also wants to enter in the semi- final of the Champions League 2013. But this was not a easy task because the match was played in the home ground of Rajasthan Royals in Sawai Mansingh Stadium , Jaipur.


Rajasthan Royals did not loose any game in their home ground upto now. The toss won the home side captain Rahul Dravid who decided to field first .


Otago Volts came out to bat and they did not had a good start .The openers did not gave them a good start. Their batsman who scored runs  in this Champions League was unable to score today.


The middle order batsman Ryan Ten Doeschate and Jimmy Neesham had a good partenship and in the end Nathann Mccllum scored some crucial runs for their team.

 Rahul Shukla was the bowler for Rajasthan Royals who picked up 3 wickets and giving away 23 runs.


Otago Volts only managed to score 139 runs with a loss of 7 wickets in their 20 Overs.


Now Rajasthan Royals had to chase the target of 140 runs and that was not a difficult task in the T-20. They had to score 7 runs per over.


The openers Rahul Dravid and Ajinkya Rahane gave them a great start and Rahane was aggrevssive at the start . He scored 5 boundaries in just 3 overs. At the end of 6 overs Rajasthan Royals were at 43 runs with no loss of wicket.


The start was perfect and now Rajasthan Royals upcoming  batsman had to capatilize the start given by the openers and they did not done well. They loose regular wickets after Rahul Dravid got out.


In middle order Brad Hodge once again beacme the rescue holder for Rajasthan Royals and he scored  52 runs in just 23 balls.


Rajasthan Royals managed to score 142 runs with a loss of 6 wickets in 19.1 Overs.


This means Rajasthan Royals won the Match by 4 Wickets.
